Delhi Crime Season 2: Shefali Shah says comparison between the two seasons is 'not fair'

Shefali Shah starrer Delhi Crime season 2 is released with great reviews by the audience as well as critics. The latest season of the famous crime-drama series revolves around DCP Vartika Chaturvedi and focuses on one of the most heinous cases in Delhi. Recently, the ace actor shared her thoughts on the comparison between the show's two seasons and said that it's not fair.

According to a news report in Hindustan Times, when Shefali was questioned regarding the comparison between the two seasons of Delhi Crime that might be witnessed by the audience, the actress replied, "We are not aiming to make season one. We have been given a legacy of something so beautiful, leave it there. First and foremost, there is no competition that this has to match up to that."

She further mentioned that even though the comparison comes natural, the audience should give Delhi Crime season 2 its due chance and then decide. "What the audience feels is not in our control. But don’t burden it with something else, which is not fair,” she added.

Meanwhile, fans have been loving the latest Netflix series so far and sharing their reviews and reaction on Twitter as well. 

One of the fans praise the series as well as Shefali and wrote, "Delhi Crime Season 2 absolutely amazing! As good as Season 1, great to see these actors together again. #DelhiCrimeSeason2 So much in awe of DCP Vartika's character as well as the artist. (Sic)."

Written and directed by Richie Mehta, the watch-worthy crime drama is backed by Golden Karavan, Ivanhoe Productions, FilmKaravan and Poor Man's Productions.

Delhi Crime season 2, which also has Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain and Rajesh Tailang in pivotal roles, is available to stream on Netflix.
