Delhi Crime Season 2: Shefali Shah unveils first look poster, trailer to be out on THIS date

Shefali Shah is gearing up for the second season of Delhi Crime. The badass Netflix show also stars Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain and Rajesh Tailang in pivotal roles among others. The makers have revealed the first look poster of the upcoming instalment and have also announced that the trailer will be out on August 8.

Shefali took to her official Instagram handle to unveil the first-ever poster of Delhi Crime season 2 that features her in her character as DCP Vartika Chaturvedi, sporting her professional look while wearing the police officer's uniform.

The diva shared the poster with a special caption that reads, "Vartika and her team return to save Delhi from a gang that threatens the lives of its citizens. (sic)."

The Satya actress also informed her fans and IG followers that the trailer of Delhi Crime season 2 will be out tomorrow that is Monday, August 8.

Rasika also shared the latest image from the series and addressed Shefali as Madam Sir, the term she uses in the show for her co-actors. The caption says, "Madam Sir and team return to save Delhi from a gang that threatens the lives of its citizens. #DelhiCrimeSeason2 trailer out TOMORROW! (Sic)."

The first season of this crime drama series is based on the 2012 Delhi gang rape case and chronicles the aftermath and investigation of the sensitive case that shook the whole nation.

Reportedly, a few months back, the streaming platform ordered the makers of the second instalment to reshoot some of the parts in the show as the OTT giant had been displeased with the output they had seen. 

However, after a delay of a few months, Delhi Crime season 2 is finally set to release on Netflix soon.
