The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Delulu, have confirmed that its shooting will begin soon. According to sources, most of the filming will be held in various locations in Kerala. Filmmaker-actor Anurag Kashyap and Rima Kallingal are set to play the lead roles in this film. Further details of the movie are expected in the coming days, with the kickstarting of its shoot.
The film, which was announced during the Onam festival, also stars Daveed Prakkat, Remya Nambeesan, Nikhila Vimal, and Chandu Salimkumar in significant parts. Shabna Mohammed, who previously co-wrote Footage and penned the screenplay for the National Award-winning film Vaanku, which is currently available for streaming on Manorama Max, is making her directing debut with Delulu.

The screenplay for Delulu is co-written by editor and director Saiju Sreedharan. The majority of the Delulu crew are the technicians from Footage, such as art director Appunni Sajan and cinematographer Shinoz. The movie, which is expected to hit the big screen by the end of this year, has been bankrolled by Pamparam Productions.
With Aashiq Abu's Rifle Club, Anurag is making his acting debut in Malayalam. Directed by Aashiq Abu, the film has a stellar cast of Darshana Rajendran and Dileesh Pothan. Vishnu Agasthya, Hanumankind, Surabhi Lakshmi, Vijayaraghavan, and Unnimaya Prasad are among the supporting cast members. The movie was supposed to be released on Onam, but it was delayed for unknown reasons. Rifle Club is anticipated to offer an intriguing and distinctive cinematic experience under Abu's directorship. According to insiders, it is also anticipated to be a complete action entertainer.
The most recent Malayalam movie, Footage, was screened in theatres by Anurag Kashyap. He stated during the film's premiere that, among other things, he was inspired to work on the project by the team's dedication and the work they did on the screenplay, sound design, and camera. Important parts are portrayed by Manju Warrier, Vishak Nair, and Gayathri Ashok in this found-footage movie.
