Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie Part 1 has broken various records, even in India. Akaza's Return, which earned more than Rs. 25 crore in the country within two days of release is now within the reach of Rs. 50 crore after its first weekend. While the local films continue to struggle earning the number in one week, Akaza's Return has minted over Rs. 40 crore within its first weekend itself.
Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie Part 1 - Akaza's Return has earned Rs. 40.25 crore according to a report on Sacnilk. The movie has minted Rs. 14.25 crore on day 3 i.e. first Sunday. It happened to be the highest Box Office collection from the anime movie.

In times when even mainstream Hindi movies struggle and take a week to earn back Rs. 50 crore, Akaza's Return has come as a pleasant surprise. The film is very close to earning the mark and even with a slight dip, the anime movie should easily cross Rs. 50 crore within the next two days. Interestingly, while the Malayalam film Lokah has entered Rs. 100 crore club, the movie also took a whole week to mint Rs. 50 crore. In that sense, too, Akaza's Return has taken the lead.

If Demon Slayer Infinity Castle movie Part 1 can earn Rs. 50 crore within almost 3 days of release, it would be a surprise if the anime film crosses Rs. 100 crore and beyond during its lifetime run. Despite competition from Lokah, Akaza's Return is managing to keep up at the Box Office, but the real test for the movie would begin on Monday. That would determine how the anime film performs at the Box Office over the next few days.
