Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle trilogy film release year update: Makers tease Kasugai crow playing a major role in Tanjiro-Muzan's face-off battle

After waiting for what feels like forever, the Demon Slayer fans finally have an update on the much-awaited battle, which will lead to the finale of the series. Although there's going to be an immensely long wait for the series to be out (and we're not complaining too much), there's finally an update on the trilogy film. The makers have shared an important detail while announcing the release year for Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Arc Part 1. Here's deciphering it...

When will Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle part 1 be out?

The makers have finally shared when Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle will be out in theatres. The first installment of the movie is scheduled to be released in 2025. They are yet to announce the actual date, though.

The importance of Kasugai Crow in the announcement and what it could mean for the finale

While sharing the new poster (in the form of images as well as video), the makers also added a very important detail. Those who know the story, are already aware that each Corp - right from Tanjiro to Genya - has a crow assigned to them. This crow is responsible for communication. With it, the makers have hinted at how at least one crow would follow the Corp into the Infinity Castle and bring back a message to the real world, which would play a very important role in the story ahead.

Which Corps fell into the Infinity Castle and who is left back?

After Muzan killed Kagaya and his family, he was trapped. Just as the Corps decided to attack him, Muzan opened to portal to what he describes as 'hell.' It is the Infinity Castle, which can change on Nakime's tunes, as she pleases, thus making the kill tougher than ever. It is to be noted that Nakime is the fourth strongest demon, and belongs to the Upper Four with Akaza (who killed Fire Hashira Shinjuro Rengoku), Doma (who is yet to be explored in his full potential), and the most intriguing of them all, Upper Rank 1 Kokushibo.

While trying to attack Muzan, Tanjiro, Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa, Serpent Hashira Obanai Iguro, Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji, Insect Hashira Shinobu Kocho, Water Hashira Giyu Tomioka, Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima and Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito all fell into the castle after Muzan opened the portal. Those who were still in training, including Zenitsu and Inosuke, are still outside the castle. Moreover, Nezuko is under protection but when it comes to her brother, she is not one to back out either. So, who is the crow heading towards? And who does it belong to? Infinity Castle sure has set the tone for a grand finale!
