Note: Spoilers ahead.
Now that Demon Slayer: Entertainment District Arc has come to an end, the makers have revealed a few details about the new season. This season is going to be titled Swordsmith Village Arc. That’s right. The focus is going to shift from Entertainment District, where many demons resided.
What can one expect from this season?
The Swordsmith Village Arc will see Tanjiro meet a new swordsmith. For those who have followed the series, they would be aware about how the current swordsmith Hotaru is very hyper which does not work well in favour of the young Demon Slayers aka Tanjiro, Zenitsu and especially, the ever-so-ready-to-fight boar-head, Inosuke. However, the Hashiras are alarmed after Hotaru goes missing from the village.
Who will it be after Tengen Uzui?
Tengen Uzui has retired from Demon Slaying after losing an arm and an eye during his battle against Daki and Gyutaro in the Entertainment District Arc. Thus, he will not return in Swordsman Village Arc. Instead, the makers have hinted at two new Hashiras who will play a major role in the new season.

Who are they?
Mist Hashira Muichiro Tokito will play a major role in this season. However, he isn’t alone. Love Hashira Mitsuri Kanroji will be joining him in the missions with Tanjiro, Zenitsu, Nezuko and Inosuke.
An intense Demon Slayer joins them.
An underrated Demon Slayer Genya Shinazugawa will also be a part of the season. He is the younger brother of Sanemi Shinazugawa and is recognized by a huge scar on his face. The scar starts from his cheek and goes up to his nose, just ending at the other cheek. He also has a peculiar hairstyle and dressing, one which you cannot miss or forget about.
When can fans expect the season to release?
If history is taken into consideration, it will be a while before the new season is ready for release. Previously, Demon Slayer took 2-3 years to release one season and if that is the case this time too, then you can expect the season to release in 2024 and that is the fastest time they could take.
