Story:

Tanjiro, Genya, Nezuko and Tokito fight demons who have entered Swordsmith Village. They are no ordinary demons but upper rank members.

Review:

Episode 6 of Demon Slayer season 3 commences where the last episode ended. Genya has turned into a monster and Tanjiro has to face him.

Nezuko and Tanjiro continue bonding as this episode begins. The VFX that takes over, transports you into a different world.

The action in this episode is above normal standards. It is as good as the last time.

Tokito faced a painful fate the last time. It continues in this episode too.

Hantengu is a surprise in this episode. He has qualities you did not expect from him.

You get to see a story of Genya’s brother Sanemi Shinazugawa too this time. He has been awesome since childhood and their past reflects on why they are monster-like currently.

The episode ends on a cliffhanger. Of course, it’s with Tanjiro.

The post-credit scene between Genya and Tanjiro is typically them. While Tanjiro continues to win hearts, Genya tried to be a hard nut to crack. He tries but doesn’t always succeed.

You miss seeing Kanroji in this episode, even though she played a huge part in the last one. That is the only disappointing factor in this episode.

Verdict:

Demon Slayer is finally on track. This is one episode you wouldn’t want to miss. It explains to you what Genya’s story is and why he is, the way he is. There is also a cliffhanger ending which works pretty well for this episode.
