Story:

Tanjiro, Tokito, Genya and Nezuko fight the demons in Swordsmith Village. This time, Tanjiro’s swordsmith Haganezuka comes as a huge surprise.

Review:

Episode seven of Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc commences where the last ended – with Tanjiro chasing Hagnetaru. The dwarf-like demon has a surprise in store and it keeps you hooked to the show. The scene is handled too well in terms of picturization, story and execution.

Zohakuten is introduced with this episode and what an entry for him! He passes on the chills, not only to Tanjiro.

If you thought Karaku, Aizetsu, Urogi and Sekido were a pain to deal with, imagine Sekido getting all of their personalities and turning into Zohakuten. That is the level of fear developed here!

Genya plays an important part in the series but from afar. He’s almost in a cameo appearance this time.

Tokito, on the other hand, leaves an impression once again. His undeterred determination is the best part of the episode. While that dies down, he does give you some memorable moments in the series.

Hotaru Haganezuka is back and you see him in a different light this time. He takes your heart and melts it in an instant with his dedication towards his craft. This is to the extent that even the demon Gyokko admires him in his own way.

This swordsmith is impressive even in the post-credit scene. Eventually though, you see his usual self back and even that isn’t so bad.

Verdict:

This episode of demon slayer demands all of your attention. There isn’t a moment where you can look away because they all are so interesting. Do not miss out on this one!
