We had already reported that the third instalment of horror thriller franchise Demonte Colony is in the making and soon to hit theatres. On Saturday, the makers of Demonte Colony 3 revealed that the post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by ZEE5.
Demonte Colony 3 on OTT: Where to stream the horror thriller?
Demonte Colony 3 is the upcoming Tamil film serving as the third part in the horror thriller franchise. The film’s posters were unveiled by the makers, with actors Arulnithi and Priya Bhavani Shankar’s sinister character revealed. Now, the latest update is regarding the OTT platform. ZEE5 has bagged the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. Subscribers of OTTplay Premium can also watch the film after its theatrical run.
Demonte Colony 3 is written and directed by filmmaker Ajay Gnanamuthu, who had helmed the first two parts as well. Named after a locality in Chennai which is infamous for spooky stories and said to be haunted, the filmmaker has planned four parts in the franchise.

For those who have not watched the first two parts, they are available for streaming via OTTplay Premium. The first part, on SunNXT, is about four friends who venture into a haunted mansion and carry a cursed necklace along with them. It features actors Arulnithi, Ramesh Thilak, Sananth, Abishek Joseph George.
The second part is on ZEE5 and served both a sequel and prequel to first part. The second part is about a young woman who crosses paths with a man who is connected to the four friends, as they face cursed spirits of the past. It featured Priya Bhavani Shankar, Arun Pandian, Meenakshi Govindarajan, Sarjano Khalid and Archana Ravichandran.
