A surprising and delightful crossover that has captured hearts is between Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and the globally acclaimed boy band BTS. Recently, the King of Bollywood expressed his admiration for the K-pop sensation in a promotional video for Dunki on Netflix. 

With humour and warmth, the actor playfully claimed, "Who taught the South Koreans to fall in love? I did. Love you, BTS!"

Following the release of the video, the segment where SRK expresses his love for BTS quickly went viral, captivating ARMY, the devoted fanbase of the boy band. 

Desi ARMY, in particular, flooded social media platforms, including X (formerly known as Twitter), expressing their excitement over the unexpected connection between their two worlds. Many expressed their hopes of witnessing a collaboration or shared stage appearance between the two iconic entities.

BTS has also expressed admiration for India on several occasions, expressing their desire to visit the country one day. In 2022, the group revealed that India, particularly Mumbai, was being considered as a host city for the 2020 "Map of the Soul Tour" concert, but unfortunately, it had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Moreover, Jeon Jungkook, the youngest member of the group, has showcased his love for Indian cuisine, mentioning naan and curry, and even grooved to RRR's "Naatu Naatu" song during a Weverse live session with fans.

About Dunki:

The film directed by Rajkumar Hirani is now available on Netflix. Expressing his gratitude, SRK said in a statement that Dunki is a special film and one that is very close to his heart.

Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are currently fulfilling their mandatory military service in South Korea. While Jin and J-Hope are set to complete their service this year, the remaining members are scheduled for release in 2025. 

The boys have already renewed their contracts with BigHit Music and HYBE Labels, reassuring ARMY of a comeback in the year 2025.
