Meghan Markle and Prince Harry may have come under fire for their tell-all docuseries Harry & Meghan on Netflix, but it has proved to be one of the biggest documentary debuts of all time for Nertflix, reports claim.

According to a report by CNBC, Harry & Meghan has been viewed over 81.55 million hours globally just in its first four days since part one of the docuseries released, Netflix reportedly told on Tuesday.

In a press release, the streaming giant said that Harry & Meghan’s milestone viewing hours marks “highest view hours of any documentary series in a premiere week.” This was part of the top-performing releases for the week ending on December 11.

For the unversed, the first three episodes of the much-hyped docuseries Harry & Meghan on December 8, while the last three the final three releases on December 15.

The series, which has been criticised by royal experts and the media alike, has featured in the streaming site’s Top 10 list in 85 countries, and is currently the number one documentary in the U.K.

The docuseries also has friends of the couple speaking about Meghan Markle, and one of the most noteworthy names is her Suits co-star Abigail Spencer. The actress said that Meghan Markle had a different life before meeting ‘H’ and went on to say that her friend Megh was ‘very outgoing and super social’ before she started her relationship with Prince Harry.
