Elvish Yadav was taken under custody for his link (allegedly not proven) to the Snake Venom case in March. Despite that (or because of that), the YouTuber became one of the most popular social media influencers in the very month. Ormax Media has now unveiled the list of top social media influencers in March and Elvish made it to top 10. Neither Munawar Faruqui nor Abhishek Malhan or his brother Triggered Insaan made it to the list.
Elvish on the list
Elvish made it to the list as the seventh most loved, despite the controversy. The YouTuber was arrested on March 17 and was released on bail after a few days (on March 23). He was sentenced to 14 days in the judicial custody in the case. The Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner was constantly in news because after him, his friends got arrested too. They are all now out on bail after paying a fine of Rs. 50,000. More recently, Elvish was in news because of his public differences with Manisha Rani (she blocked him because he uploaded a cover photo of Akshay Kumar on a video which Elvish and Manisha had collaborated on).
Dhruv Rathee barely makes it to top five
Another name who is making headlines these days is Dhruv Rathee. A video of his has been going viral and has become a top of debate among the netizens. He became the fifth most popular social media influencer in March. CarryMinati, Bhuvan Bam, Ashish Chanchlani and Mr. Beast made it to the first, second, third and fourth rank respectively.
Madan Gowri among bottom five
Madan Gowri is the latest entrant on the list. He is the sixth most popular social media influencer of the month, just before Elvish’s popularity. Sandeep Maheshwari and Technical Guruji’s ranking fell to eighth and ninth spot respectively. Harsh Beniwal re-entered the list and became the 10th most popular social media influencer of the month.
