Diljit Dosanjh confirmed that Detective Sherdil will get a sequel, through the film. The actor said, "Toh milenge agli baar, ek naye case ke saath." This clearly hints that the makers already have installments on their mind when it comes to Detective Sherdil.

What starts as an open-and-shut case about a billionaire's murder, ends up being a complicated one where there's a lot more than what meets the eye. It begins with Boman Irani's Pankaj Bhatti being killed on a desserted road with no cameras around. However, when Diljit Dosanjh's Detective Sherdil comes onboard for the case, he slowly starts making sense of what really went down. It is the ending of the film that brings it all together.
After Detective Sherdil, Diljit Dosanjh now awaits the release of his next movie, Sardaar Ji 3. The hit franchise film this time is about Sardaar Ji fighting chudels in an abandoned mansion in UK. He gets in the mood to kill bad spirits while helping out the others cross over to the otherworld. The film releases in theatres coming Friday i.e. on June 27.
The Punjab-based singer recently made headlines for his music video Buck. The same is his collaboration with South Korean Pop singer Jackson Wang. The latter flew down to India to promote the song which is a part of his album Magic Man 2. While Wang’s photos with Diljit are still not out, he did meet Bollywood celebrity Hrithik Roshan during his time in India. Interestingly, Diljit also makes headlines for his own docu-series, which he aims to keep US-based to show his journey from Punjab to Hollywood.
