Dev and Paran Bandyopadhyay are to be back after Tonic

The hit combination between actor Dev, director Avijit Sen, and producer Atanu Roychaudhuri is all set to be back this winter. This time, Paran Bandyopadhyay will team up with Dev. As per reports, the film is titled Pradhan and it will be a family drama.   

Dev-Avijit Atanu dropped their hit film Projapoti in December last year. Before that, Tonic, which also features Dev and Paran Bandyopadhyay, was also a major box office success. However, as per the makers, despite the same cast, Pradhan will have no connection with Tonic and hence it is not a sequel.

After the success of Tonic and Projapati, will Pradhan mark the hattrick of success of the actor-director-producer combo? The makers said that the expectations rose. But they are ready to make the film bigger and better than the previous two films. The details of the film are yet to be released. Meanwhile, The cast is not finalised yet. There is a possibility, Mithun Chakrabarty’s Kabuliwala might be dropped in winter.
