Dev and Rahul Arunodoy Banerjee take a dig at Hiran on his ‘PhD’ degree

The General Election of the Ghatal constituency is on May 25. Before that, Hiran Chatterjee’s PhD degree has been questioned. The Aam Aadmi Party claimed that Hiran’s doctorate was fake. They demanded to cancel the candidacy of the BJP candidate. Now, Rahul Arunodoy Banerjee and Dev commented on this.

The tiff between Dev and Hiran is at its peak. None of them wants to give a bit of space to the other. Now, Dev did not want to miss the chance to tease his opponent. He tweeted, “O Subhendu da! Your candidate has been lying from the start. He is a fake doctor! How much will he befool Ghatal’s people?”

Rahul posted on social media where he directly attacked Hiran. “The other day I saw Hiran shouting at a cop. Let him. But at one point he shouted and introduced himself as Dr Hiranmoy Chatterjee. This is a humble request by a co-actor. Please let us know where you did your PhD from and on which subject. The history of PhD in this state is not very good.” Rahul is known to be a Left supporter. He was seen several times campaigning for the other Left candidates.

In the affidavit submitted by Hiran, he said that he did a PhD from IIT. But the Aam Aadmi Party, through an RTI, came to know that Hiran did not have any such degree from IIT. Hence, Kejriwal's party claimed that Hiran’s degree was totally fake.
