Dev at Bagha Jatin trailer launch: Many characters are yet to be played

Bagha Jatin's trailer has been released. It depicts the story of Jatindranath Mukherjee, the revolutionary, and other brave people, who worked together with him. The trailer and the songs have won the audience’s hearts. Now, Dev introduced his team and shared several pieces of information.

Dev introduced his team by saying, “This is my family. My Bagha Jatin family. This is not a film anymore but a passion. We will again make films, act, and write songs separately, but a film like Bagha Jatin will perhaps never happen again in our lives. This is much more than a film to us.” 

Many people were present at the trailer launch event. Dev was asked how after so many years in the industry and acting in films ranging from Challenge to Bagha Jatin, the journey was for him. Dev replied, “I did not get the time to think. I remain so busy that I can’t think about what I have done in my life. Many works are still to be done, many histories are waiting to be written, and many characters are yet to be played. If I live on, then I will think about this in my old age. Right now, I am gathering experiences.”

Dev faced criticism for playing characters like Byomkesh Bakshi and Bagha Jatin. What does he say about this? Dev replied, “People will say many things. How does it matter? I came to make history and I will do that. The rest will be seen on Friday.” 

Directed by Arun Roy, the film will be released this Puja on October 19. Along with Bagha Jatin, Srijit Mukherji’s Dawshom Awbotaar, Arindam Sil’s Jongole Mitin Mashi and Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Raktabeej will be released.
