Dev campaigns across Ghatal and retaliates Hiran’s attacks

Dev and Hiran Chatterjee locked horns at Ghatal. The constituency sees a tough electoral battle between these two Tollywood stars. Dev is the TMC candidate and Hiran Chatterjee is the BJP candidate in Ghatal. When the list was announced, Hiran attacked Dev several times. Now, Dev retaliated. 

Dev, in a press conference, said, “Let him not mistake my courtesy as my weakness. The way Hiran is constantly attacking me will not help him win in Ghatal ever. You can't win a poll by stooping so low. You have to win by love.” 

Dev also said, “How low can a person stoop to win an election? Hiran might have some problems. He might be a bit senior to me, but both of us started our careers probably at the same time. I reached a position, but he could not. He is perhaps compensating for that now.” 

Dev also said that he decided to contest the election after considering his thoughts about CM Mamata Banerjee. This decision is based on the Ghatal Masterplan. Dev stopped his film work and is campaigning full-on. He goes to the local people and visits homes in the paras. People are also welcoming him with flowers and garlands.
