Dev shows humility while talking about his hits

Dev’s film, Projapati, was released last year in December. The film took the box office by storm and did record-selling on some of the days. Byomkesh O Durga Rohosyo suffered from Gadar 2 and OMG 2, but still, it did fairly well at the box office. Bagha Jatin has not been released yet but the promotion is at its peak. Netizens on social media say that only Dev’s films are giving oxygen to Bengali films. Dev shared his opinions regarding this.

Bagha Jatin will be released on October 19, along with three other big-budget films – Srijit Mukherji’s Dawshom Awbotaar, Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy’s Raktabeej and Arindam Sil’s Jongole Mitin Mashi. Dev has started reaching out to students, and shoppers at shopping malls, and busy roads as part of the promotion of his films. He spends a lot of time with children in order to introduce the freedom fighter to our young generation. This is getting a good response. Amidst these, he gave an interview to Fever FM.

He was told in the interview that many people are saying that Dev's films are the only ones making business. A report says that the five highest-grossing Tollywood films are all starring Dev – Amazon Abhijaan (Rs 50 cr), Chander Pahar (Rs 21 cr), Projapati (Rs 14 cr), Paglu (Rs 10 crcr), and Paran Jay Jwoliya re (Rs 9.5 cr). Dev did not boast the figures but rather sent a pranam to everyone with folded hands. Dev also indicated that he was grateful to his audience.
