Ritu Varma was last seen in the comedy caper Mazaka, featuring Sundeep Kishan and Rao Ramesh in lead roles. After the success of that film, she is now headlining a web series titled Devika & Danny for JioHotstar, and we at OTTplay have already informed you about the same.

Now, the makers have released the trailer of the show, and it looks quite interesting. With the trailer, JioHotstar has also announced that Devika & Danny will be available for streaming from June 6, 2025.
The trailer showcases Ritu Varma as a village belle all set to tie the knot with Subbaraju. But things change as she falls for an unknown man and goes neck-deep in love. This creates new issues for her, as the one she has fallen for is a spirit and not a human being.
All this is showcased interestingly by the director, Kishore B. He had earlier directed Sharwanand's Sreekaram, which ended as a big flop. But things look interesting, as he has narrated the story of Devika & Danny in a simple yet gripping manner.
The presence of actors Shiva Kandukuri, Viva Harsha, and Anant makes things quite interesting. Devika & Danny also stars Kovai Sarala, and her role has been kept under wraps. Sudhakar Chaganti has produced this series, and Jay Krish is the music composer.
Ritu Varma pins all hopes on Devika & Danny
After a long gap, the Pelli Choopulu star Ritu Varma is seen in a tailor-made role, and she looks pretty as the village belle. All her scenes with Subbaraju look interesting. Along with the comedy, the inclusion of thrilling elements is one of the interesting aspects of Devika & Danny.
