Kangana Ranaut’s upcoming action thriller, Dhaakad is one of the actor’s most talked about movies. The movie’s makers have now released its first official teaser, giving a look into Ranaut’s various avatars.

The teaser starts off with the actor looking out the window in the night with a drink in hand, and taking a bath. The teaser kicks into top gear soon, and starts showing Ranaut in all her different makeovers.

The actor is soon in all out killing mode, slaying people left right and center. She is seen aggressively stabbing a man, poking people in the eye, and ripping into people using a katana. While the teaser does not reveal much about the story, it gives a look into the action sequences the actor has pulled off for the movie.

The teaser also confirms that the action thriller will hit theatres on May 20, 2022. In an announcement made in February, it was confirmed that Dhaakad will be out in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu & Malayalam.

The movie, which is set in the backdrop of child trafficking and the exploitation of women, will see Ranaut play an agent who takes on bad guys. Ranaut had earlier talked about the movie, saying that the country has never seen a woman centric action entertainer of such scale.

Backed by Asylum films, Soham Rockstar Entertainment, and Sohel Maklai Productions, the movie is helmed by Razneesh Ghai. Apart from Kangana Ranaut in the lead, Dhaakad also features Arjun Rampal, Divya Dutta, and Saswata Chatterjee.

Kangana Ranaut, who is currently hosting Lock Upp on ALT Balaji, was last seen in the biographical drama, Thalaivii. She is also awaiting the release of Tejas and Tiku Weds Sheru co-starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
