Dhamaka mood promo: Kartik Aaryan oozes into his character Arjun Pathak in this intriguing teaser

Kartik Aaryan is all set to make his Netflix debut with Ram Madhvani directorial Dhamaka. The film was shot within 10 days and the actor plays the role of a hard-hitting journalist. Now, as a part of Netflix's TUDUM event, Kartik featured in a mood promo giving a glimpse into the world of Dhamaka. The video starts with the actor lazing in his house and then get trapped as a hostage.

He is asked to suit up and say his line from the film, if not, he will be attacked from every nook and corner of his house. However, the video takes a twisted turn when it's shown that Kartik is on the sets of his film and looks puzzled. He then says the same dialogue by getting into the skin of his character.

The streaming platform described the mood promo as "A prime-time television news anchor, a bomb threat. Kartik Aaryan becomes Arjun Pathak from Bharosa 24*7 to share the excitement with fans ahead of the trailer of Dhamaka in this Tudum Special."

Dhamaka is based on the South Korean film The Terror Live by Kim Byung-woo. The movie also features Amruta Subhash and Mrunal Thakur in pivotal roles.

Earlier sharing his excitement on Dhamaka, Kartik had said in a statement, "Dhamaka has been a very exciting and enriching experience for me as an actor. Working with a maverick like Ram Madhvani has allowed me to explore & showcase a new facet of my personality. I am thrilled that the film will reach audiences and my fans all around the world on Netflix."

After announcing the film in November 2020, the shoot kickstarted in December and wrapped in just about 10 days. The whole film is set in one location of which a teaser was shown earlier this year.

The streaming date of Dhamaka on Netflix is yet to be announced.
