Dhanush and Nithya Menon head to Puducherry for Thiruchitrambalam

Thiruchitrambalam marks the 44th movie of Dhanush, pairing him with three female lead actors, Nithya Menon, Raashi Khanna and Priya Bhavani Shankar, in it. Directed by Mithran Jawahar, the shoot of the film is currently on, with Dhanush and Nithya Menon canning a song in Puducherry.

According to a Behindwoods report, after the song shoot, the team is expected to head to Courtallam and set up shop there, for a 10-day schedule. Raashi Khanna is also likely to join the set of Thiruchitrambalam in Courtallam.

The upcoming 44th movie of Dhanush also marks the reunion of Kolaveri duo Dhanush and musicman Anirudh Ravichandar after a gap of six years. Such is the excitement surrounding the music of this project that the hashtag #DnA has already been trending on social media with respect to news about this film.

Announcing the start of the film, producers Sun Pictures had earlier posted on social media that Thiruchitrambalam went on floors on August 5. By the end of the month, Raashi Khanna had posted that she was joining the team for filming. The upcoming Dhanush starrer also features Bharathiraja and Prakash Raj in pivotal roles.

Thiruchitrambalam marks the reunion of Dhanush and director Mithran Jawahar after a gap of 11 years and is the fourth collaboration of the actor and the director.
