Dhanush showers praise on Kubera co-star Nagarjuna, calls him 'truly inspiring' to work with

Kubera is one of the most awaited films as it has Dhanush and Akkineni Nagarjuna teaming up for the first time in their careers. The shooting of the film is done, and Kubera will hit the screens on June 20, 2025. The teaser of Kubera was released by the makers, and it showcases Nagarjuna and Dhanush in two contrasting roles.

Dhanush praises Akkineni Nagarjuna for Kubera

Dhanush has opened up about the film and sharing screen space with Nagarjuna. When asked about his working experience with the Allari Alludu and Govinda Govinda actor, Dhanush said, "Nagarjuna sir’s films are still loved and remembered by fans even today. I have always been a big fan of his work, especially the Tamil film Ratchagan, which I enjoyed watching."

Nagarjuna plays an integral part in Kubera, and director Shekar Kammula has showcased him like never before. Adding further, Dhanush says, “It was a proud moment for me to be able to work with Nagarjuna sir. I learned a lot just by watching him act and carry himself. He is truly inspiring, and the lessons I have learned from him during the shoot will stay with me forever."

Kubera has music by Devi Sri Prasad, and he has composed some really interesting tunes. Dhanush previously did a straight Telugu film titled Sir, which was directed by Tholi Prema fame Venky Atluri. The moment he teamed up with Shekar Kammula, everyone was quite eager to see what the director, known for romantic dramas like Fidaa, would do with actors like Dhanush and Nagarjuna, who each have their own distinct style, different from Kammula’s.

But Kubera takes on a new style of narration, as the film is a thriller with a solid social message. The makers will soon start the physical promotions, and we need to see the camaraderie between the two stars. For now, Dhanush is in awe of Nagarjuna and his working style.
