Kubera is one of the most awaited films as it has Dhanush and Nagarjuna Akkineni teaming up for the first time. The special aspect is that it is being directed by none other than Fidaa fame Sekhar Kammula. The social drama has been in the making for the last two years and is all set to hit the screens on June 20, 2025.

The recently held pre-release event in Chennai created good buzz for the film. We at OTTplay have already revealed that Amazon Prime has bagged the digital rights for a massive price, the highest ever in the careers of Nagarjuna and Dhanush.
We have now come to know that Amazon has locked a tight OTT release window. One of the sources close to the unit has revealed to us that Kubera will be out on Amazon Prime Video within a month of its theatrical release. This deal was locked between the makers and Amazon, as a hefty amount was fixed for the digital release.
Sunil Narang, one of the producers of the film, has also confirmed that his film has bagged solid money for the OTT rights, hinting at the same. The promos have created a solid buzz, and everyone is eager to see what Sekhar Kammula has up his sleeve with two big stars of South India.
The news is that Nagarjuna, of Allari Alludu, Govinda Govenda, and Snehamante Idera fame, has a tailor-made role in this film and is super excited to showcase himself in a new avatar. Rashmika Mandanna is playing the female lead, and her character is going to be one of the major surprises of the film.
Kubera is a hot cake in Telugu states
Kubera is the next big release in Telugu and Tamil, and thanks to Nagarjuna's presence, the film is getting solid rates for its theatrical business. Special premieres have been planned ahead of the film's release, and we need to see how much this big-budget film will make in its lifetime.
