Dharma Sankat on OTT
A new Bengali romantic series, Dharma Sankat, is releasing on Fridaay platform in May. The release date is not out yet but it will land on the platform this month. The series will also be available on OTTplay Premium once it's released.
The poster features the male and female leads - Satyam Bhattacharya and Roshni Bhattacharyya - of the series. The caption of the post is in Bengali and it translates to, "Even if religion blinds the eyes, let love still triumph!" Going by the caption, the series is likely to highlight the power of love and how it wins over everything if it has dedication.

Cast and crew of Dharma Sankat
Dharma Sankat stars Satyam Bhattacharya, Roshni Bhattacharyya, Shreelekha Mukherjee, Souman Bose, Deepak Halder, and others. It is produced by Stori Boat Productions LLP and the creative producer is Pathikrit Sengupta.
The concept and story is done by Sahin Aktar. On the other hand, script, dialogue, and screenplay are taken care of by Sadeep Bhattacharjee. Amit Chatterjee is the music director, while Gobinda Mondal is the costume designer. Dharma Sankat is edited by Subhajit Singha and directed by Vhik and Sahin Aktar.
Meanwhile, Satyam Bhattacharya is best known for his roles in Mishawr Rawhoshyo (2013), Gumnaami (2019) and Ballabhpurer Roopkotha (2022). On the other hand, Roshni Bhattacharyya is popularly known for Mrs Undercover (2023), Godhuli Alap (2022) and Shreeman v/s Shreemati (2025). It will be interesting to see Roshni and Satyam's on-screen chemistry in Dharma Sankat.
