Veteran actor Dharmendra boasts of a stellar career in Bollywood. Over the course of his over five decade long career, Dharmendra has had his name attached to over 300 films and seems to be still going strong on the work front. But it seems that even a seasoned star just as himself did have his doubts about his career as he got older. The veteran actor's son Bobby Deol recently revealed some of the worries his father had about the same.

In conversation with Film Companion, Deol talked about a conversation he had with his father. The latter had revealed that he had thought he would work until the age of 70, after which he would either not get any film offers or be unable to work on projects. But Dharmendra added that despite reaching the age of 86, he was still working.

Deol talked about how ‘awesome’ he felt hearing his father say that and how the words ‘inspired’ him. “I want to work till the last breath I take, because that’s what we are, we’re actors, we want to keep working,” said Deol. The star talked about how his father was his ‘biggest inspiration’, and how he is able to see a lot of people in his family, including his brothers and sisters, still working.

Dharmendra will next be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming directorial Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The veteran actor will share the screen with Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi.

Deol was last seen in the ZEE5 film Love Hostel, which also starred Vikrant Massey and Sanya Malhotra. The actor will next be seen in the third season of MX Player’s Aashram, which will start streaming on June 3.
