Dheeram release date: Indrajith Sukumaran's thriller set to hit the big screen soon

The makers of the upcoming Malayalam film, Dheeram, have finally dropped an update on its theatrical release. The thriller, starring Indrajith Sukumaran in the lead role, will hit the big screen in the upcoming month.

Using a new poster on social media, the cast and crew of the film announced its release date of December 5. Arjun Ashokan and Sharaf U Dheen-starrer Khajuraaho Dreams, another long-pending Malayalam movie, would also have its premiere on the same day. According to reports, Bhavana and Rahman's upcoming thriller, Anomie: The Equation of Death, is probably scheduled for release on December 5.

Following its announcement in November of last year, the producers of Dheeram did not provide any information regarding its release. Only the official first-look poster, which starred Indrajith, was released. "For Every Crime, there's a Punishment... Here's the official title revealing teaser of our new movie Dheeram," the talented actor posted the title promo on his official accounts last year. Indrajith's other releases in 2025 were his brother Prithviraj Sukumaran's directorial, L2: Empuraan, and Deepu Karunakaran's Mr & Mrs Bachelor. Empuraan is available to watch on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium in multiple languages.

Dheeram promo video, cast and crew details

It is reasonable to presume that Indrajith Sukumaran is portraying a strong figure who is pursuing justice based on Dheeram's promo video and first-look poster. An unidentified figure is seen shooting at someone while flanked by four masked individuals brandishing knives covered in blood. Later, as he defeats his opponent, he can be seen grinning evilly. After a break, Indrajith is expected to offer a powerful performance, according to the Dheeram title promo. 

Aju Varghese, Divya Pillai, Vijayaraghavan, Nishanth Sagar, Reba Monica John, and other prominent actors play supporting parts in Jithin Suresh T's Dheeram. Deepu S. Nair and Sandeep Sandanandan co-wrote the script for the film. Sougandh SU has managed the cinematography of the movie.
