Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh fans, rejoice! The latest soundtrack of Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh starrer Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani titled, Dhindhora Baje Re, is out now. Saregama Music – the official music partner of the upcoming movie, shared the official video on YouTube.
The official video is captioned: “Two hearts, one rhythm, and a love that breaks all barriers. #DhindhoraBajeRe OUT NOW!”
Featuring superstars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in pivotal roles, the music has been composed by Pritam Chakraborty and melodiously sung by Darshan Raval and Bhoomi Trivedi. The lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The music video shows Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh as Rani and Rocky, who dance to their fullest on the occasion of Durga Puja in the presence of their respective families.
The music video also features legendary actors Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan, who seem unhappy knowing that Rocky and Rani are in love with each other.
If one notices, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt perform a classical dance beautifully in it on the beats of Dhindora Baje Re. Not only this, but both of them also wear traditional deep red coloured attires to celebrate the spirit of Durga Puja.
Interestingly, since the song is based on the theme of Durga Puja, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt have landed in Kolkata to promote this song. Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal, is popular for its Durga Puja festivities.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is an upcoming family drama directed by Karan Johar and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy. Produced by Dharma Productions and Viacom18 Studios, the theatrical film stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi, alongside Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. The trailer shows that the movie is about a couple with contrasting personalities who decide to live with each other's families before getting married and call as “the switch”. The movie will be released on July 28.
