Young Tamil actor Dhruv Vikram who is currently working with filmmaker Mari Selvaraj for the upcoming film Bison, has not announced his next officially as of yet. However, it looks like Dhruv Vikram is preparing to star in an action thriller, which is said to be a remake of a hit Hindi film. Keep reading to know more.

If the buzz online is indeed true, then Dhruv Vikram is expected to star in a yet another remake in his career. After starting his filmography by playing the infamous protagonist Arjun in the remake of Telugu film Arjun Reddy, Dhruv Vikram is rumoured to headline the remake of Hindi film Kill.

Kill is a 2023 action thriller film which is written and directed by filmmaker Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. Inspired by true events, the film stars Lakshya, Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, Tanya Maniktala and Abhishek Chauhan. The film is about how a train is held captive by criminals armed with weapons as a commando in the train comes to the rescue. Kill is available for streaming on JioHotstar and OTTplay Premium. The film opened to positive reviews and good box office collection.

While Dhrvu Vikram has not confirmed about the remake, it is said that the remake will be helmed by Telugu director Ramesh Varma who has made films like Khiladi, and Rakshasudu. Not much about the others in the cast and crew have surfaced online media.

Meanwhile, Dhruv Vikram and Mari Selvaraj’s film is a sports drama titled Bison. Based on kabaddi, and will also feature actors Anupama Parameswaran, Rajisha Vijayan, Lal, Hari Krishnan, Pasupathy, Kalaiyarasan, Azhagam Perumal, and Aruvi Madhan among others. It will release on October 17 with Netflix bagging the post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. Applause Entertainment and Pa Ranjith's Neelam Productions are backing the film.
