The first review of director Gautham Menon's embattled film Dhruva Natchathiram, starring Chiyaan Vikram, is out.

Filmmaker Lingusamy is one of the select few who had the privilege of watching director Gautham Menon's long-delayed movie, Dhruva Natchathiram. After watching the film in a private screening in Mumbai, Lingusamy took to social media to heap praises on it.
Based on Lingusamy's review, Gautham seems to have whipped up a sleek action thriller with Dhruva Natchathiram.
"Happened to see the final cut of #DhruvaNatchathiram in mumbai & it was just fantastic. well made, visuals on par with the best. @chiyaan was so cool & #vinayakan stole everything in the movie. huge cast & everyone were brilliant. @menongautham congrats brother, u along with @Jharrisjayaraj has given us one more gem in your combo. best wishes for a great release & a even bigger success," tweeted Lingusamy.
Such high praise from Lingusamy must come as a big confidence boost for the morale of Gautham, who is struggling to give this film a wide release. Even as the release date draws closer, there is still a lot of uncertainty. Many are speculating whether or not the film will hit the screens on November 24 as announced earlier.
Speculations are rife that the release of Dhruva Natchathiram might be postponed to a later date owing to financial woes. However, the producers seem to be confident that it will hit the screens as planned.
Dhruva Natchathiram has been reeling under various problems since it was first announced. Even though Gautham managed to shoot the film with Chiyaan Vikram in the lead, the film ran into several legal complications owing to unchecked and unstructured financial borrowings.
Later, Gautham took over the project and has been raising money by taking up acting offers to solve money problems and release the movie in cinemas.
Besides Vikram and Vinayakan, Dhruva Natchathiram also stars Ritu Varma, R. Parthiban, Radhika Sarathkumar, Simran and Vinayakan.
