The long-awaited movie Dhruva Natchathiram by director Gautham Menon reached another milestone as the second single, titled "His Name Is John," was released by filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj on Wednesday. The release of the song has sparked excitement among fans as they eagerly await the film's theatrical debut.

Expressing his delight, Lokesh Kanagaraj tweeted, "Somethings are just worth the wait! Thrilled to release the second single #HisNameIsJohn Can’t wait to see what @menongautham sir has managed to pull off for all of us in #DhruvaNatchathiram."

The song, composed by Harris Jayaraj, features lyrics and vocals by Paal Dabba, praising the physical prowess of the protagonist, John, portrayed by Tamil superstar Vikram. The lyrical video has given fans a sneak peek into the film's sleek action sequences, showcasing John's skills with various guns.

Dhruva Natchathiram faced a setback a few years ago when actor Suriya withdrew from the project due to creative differences with director Gautham Menon. However, Gautham's perseverance led him to approach Superstar Rajinikanth before ultimately casting Vikram in the lead role. The movie commenced filming in 2016 and has been the subject of much anticipation ever since.

Apart from Vikram, Dhruva Natchathiram boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Simran, Ritu Varma, Aishwarya Rajesh, Parthiepan, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Dhivyadharshini, Vamsi Krishna, and Sathish Krishnan.

During a recent media event, Gautham Menon expressed his confidence in the movie's imminent release , describing it as a mainstream action-packed spy thriller. He further shared his vision of developing the film into a franchise centred around Vikram's character, should it resonate well with the audiences.

Addressing the challenges faced during the film's journey, Gautham Menon stated, "There are small hurdles, but I am overcoming them slowly."

According to rge producers, fans can expect the release of Dhruva Natchathiram in cinemas this month or the next.
