Dibyojyoti Dutta on Anurager Chhowa: I do my job and the rest is on the audience

Times have changed for Anurager Chhowa. For the last two weeks, it has been evident how the serial's performance is deteriorating. It has been the topper for the last eleven months. People loved the tussle between Surya and Deepa and Mishka's conspiracy. Then the story saw many changes and Arjun Chakraborty is playing a new role. Is the new turn not attracting the audience? Does the TRP going down affect the cast? 

Dibyojyoti Dutta, who plays the male lead Surya, told Anandabazar Online, “I don’t feel bad. I did not get excited while we were the topper. When my previous serial Chuni Panna's TRP went down, it did not affect me. I always thought that I had to do my work seriously. The rest is in the audience's hands. If I become sad, it will not help me.” 

Dibyojyoti, however, is excited to work with Arjun. They used to go to the same gym once. They did not shoot together yet. But their friendship grew in the makeup room.

In the current plot, A pregnant Mishka has started living with Surya and Deepa’s family. She has been plotting to get validation while the family tries to resist her plots.
