Did Adarsh Gourav experience hierarchy on Tu Yaa Main set with Shanaya Kapoor? Actor reveals the truth

Fans are excited about the upcoming new on-screen pair, Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor, in the film, Tu Yaa Main. They are set to play content creators in Bejoy Nambiar's film. The teaser for the film has already gained buzz among fans. Amid this, Adarsh opened up about working with Shanaya and addressed the hierarchy on set. 

Adarsh Gourav addresses hierarchy on Tu Yaa Main set

Speaking to Hindustan Times, Adarsh Gourav opened up about whether he experienced any hierarchy while working with Shanaya Kapoor on the set of Tu Yaa Main. Brushing off the assumption, Adarsh said, "Not at all. For me, there’s no senior or junior. I only worked with her during the announcement video shoot, and it was super chill. She was easy to get along with, and I’m genuinely excited to work with her again."

He also called Shanaya 'very cool and relaxed.' "We were mostly just joking about how hot the water looked while we were actually freezing during the shoot!" he said.

Tu Yaa Main teaser

The teaser begins with Adarsh's character, a YouTuber, going on an adventure outside Mumbai. He dives into a pool and is seen making a video for his YouTube channel. However, he soon meets Shanaya Kapoor's character, who is even more famous than him. He asks her for a collaborative video and even flirts with her while enjoying a cold drink. However, the situation takes a deadly turn when a crocodile is seen entering the lake, dragging Adarsh away, leaving Shanaya panicking while screaming.

Bejoy Nambiar on Tu Yaa Main

Speaking about the film, Bejoy Nambiar said, “With Tu Yaa Main, we’re pushing the boundaries of romance and survival in a way that’s both emotionally charged and intensely terrifying. Adarsh and Shanaya’s chemistry and their contrasting energies are what will make Tu Yaa Main a wild ride."

He also said that the film is a unique canvas that allows us to explore complex characters against the backdrop of an unforgiving wilderness.

Tu Yaa Main is set for a Valentine’s Day 2026 release and promises romance, thrill, and survival. 

Apart from Tu Yaa Main, Shanaya Kapoor will also be seen in Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan alongside Vikrant Massey. She recently wrapped up the film’s shooting in Baku, Azerbaijan.
