Did Apoorv Singh Karki research for six months before beginning to work on Manoj Bajpayee-starrer Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai?

It is often said that a picture can tell a thousand words. And a film is a collection of several frames of pictures, which is arranged in a way that builds a story. Keeping this fact in mind is the team of Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai who truly believe that one needs a strong storyline to make great films.

Today, the trailer of Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai was launched. At the launch event, the team of the film gathered in full attendance including actor Manoj Bajpayee, director Apoorv Singh Karki, creative producer Suparn S Varma and producer Vinod Bhanushali.

Speaking at the event, Karki shared how he felt working in the film and whether he faced challenges, if any. Comfortably, he responds: “My team and I did research for six months. After finishing the research, we moved on to working on the screenplay. There were challenges indeed. But the challenges that occurred were a part of the process (of filmmaking). We faced those challenges with our support system.”

The director goes on to heap praises for 54-year-old Bajpayee. He says, “As far as the process of shooting was concerned, Manoj (Bajpayee) wiped away all the challenges with ease in this sphere. We used to think we’d take hours just to get that one take.... however, this was not the case. Manoj ji is a very fine and polished actor.”

“Honestly speaking, it is a great team to work with. I have known Suparn for a long time and I’m grateful to Manoj and Suparn for giving me a chance to work on this project. And Vinod Bhanushali who laid his trust in me to work on this project,” he wraps up.

Bajpayee was last seen in the thriller Silence... Can You Hear It? In the year 2021 wherein he appeared as a cop trying to solve a murder case.
