Did Katrina Kaif’s mother just give it back to Neetu Kapoor’s dig? She demands respect

Neetu Kapoor Instagram status has been going viral since a time now. Many feel that it was a dig at Ranbir Kapoor’s exes Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif. Now, the latter’s mom has added a quote which appears to be her response to the post.

Katrina’s mother Suzanne shared a quote about showing respect. “I was raised to treat the janitor with the same respect as the CEO,” she shared on Instagram. This happens just as Neetu’s Instagram story goes viral.

Neetu had shared, “Just because he dated you for 7 years, it doesn’t mean he will marry you. My uncle studied medicine for 6 years, now he is a DJ.”

The same seemed to be a direct dig at Katrina Kaif, who was reported to be in a long-term relationship with Ranbir Kapoor. Before Katrina, Deepika Padukone was dating Ranbir for a long time. The actor was also briefly linked to Sonam Kapoor, among many other names.

Now, Ranbir is finally married. He tied the knot with his Brahmastra co-star Alia Bhatt. The two even have a daughter named Raha who they are raising together in their Bandra home.

While Katrina’s mother seems to have taken a dig at Ranbir and his mom, an old quote of Neetu stating that Ranbir changed because of Deepika has also been going viral. It was often reported that Neetu was not fond of Deepika. The same was also stated as the reason behind Ranbir and Deepika’s breakup.

Ranbir and Deepika made their Bollywood debut on the same day, with Sonam. While Ranbir and Sonam worked in Sawaariyan, Deepika starred opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Om Shanti Om. Ranbir and Deepika then became official after working on Bachna Ae Haseeno. A year later, they parted ways.

Ranbir was then reported to be dating Katrina since 2009. They met on the sets of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, which co-incidentally also starred Salman Khan (once rumoured to be Katrina’s boyfriend).

Ranbir met his wife Alia five years back. They started dating while shooting for Brahmastra and eventually got married.
