Mannara Chopra was a part of Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 17. She became the second runner-up of the show, with her ‘friend’ Munawar Faruqui winning the TV show. Mannara has now hinted that some people who got success from the show (which happens to be Munawar) have turned very arrogant.
Mannara says credibility matters
Speaking about her image in the industry, Mannara told Siddharth Kannan that while people might feel that she has done lesser work, they wouldn't call her character bad. “Your credibility is counted the minute you turn your back,” she said. The actress claims that what people speak about someone is the credibility note that people carry for a lifetime.
“People from Bigg Boss have turned very arrogant”
“Aapka success aata hai aur aapka success jaata hai,” she started saying, further adding that she has seen people from Bigg Boss getting very arrogant and feeling the success and power. “Because they're experiencing it for the first time so they feel arrogant or that they're ruling the world,” she added.
What she took back from Bigg Boss 17
The actress said that for her, the experience of Bigg Boss is just the beginning - the stepping stone or another feather in her hat. Mannara claimed that since she has a long way to go ahead in her career, she prefers to stay grounded. She added that success never got to her head, no matter what. Mannara further recommended the same to her fans. She further urges people not to feel low when they are having a bad time.
MunAra
The duo’s equation was constantly in a turmoil inside the Bigg Boss 17 house. While Mannara and Munawar turned close friends, there were times when Munawar pulled back and they felt their lowest. This is especially after the MunAra trend on social media, and them being teased by the same inside the house. Many things were said and done, but given how Munawar was already facing a tough time (and having seen the MunJali trend on Lock Upp), he chose to stay away from Mannara for many moments on the show.
