Sushant Singh Rajput (Sonchiriya actor)'s Bollywood debut film would be incomplete if it wouldn't be about the brotherhood between the three actors - Sushant, Amit Sadh and Rajkummar Rao (Bose: Dead or Alive). Their bond was loved both on as well as off sets. Now, think what would happen if even one actor quit? Exactly. Amit Sadh was going to be that actor, and he himself revealed so during a recent interview. The reason for him quitting, though, is not what you think.
Amit Sadh almost quit Kai Po Che but because of filmmaker Abhishek Kapoor. He confirmed the same on Cyrus Says. This happened when Kapoor blamed the actors for lacking emotional depth after the first female actress cast in the movie quit. Taking the insult towards his colleagues personally, Sadh quit the film.
Amit Sadh came back on board when he and Abhishek Kapoor bumped into each other. The director asked the actor if he had a house or car. Upon hearing that he had neither, Kapoor directly asked Sadh why did he decide to quit the film. The Jeet Ki Zid actor confessed that he had a very bad temper and was very violent. "The one thing I'm very proud of is that I met the right people, I read the right book, and I realized that anger was futile. I found the other way, which is communication," he said.
Amit Sadh became the face of OTT after working in Breathe. The actor has been a part of various other shows and movies throughout his career and his latest offering is Pune Highway. The movie co-stars Rocket Boys actor Jim Sarbh along with Rajit Kapoor, Manjari Fadnis and Shishir Sharma in key roles. The film is based on a play and is now released in theatres.
