Manoj Bajpayee has become a household name since his latest release The Family Man 2. However, the actor indeed is a ‘family man’ in his personal life as well. Bajpayee is married to former actress Shabana, who goes by the name of Neha in the film industry. She made her debut with the 1998 film Kareeb opposite Bobby Deol, the actress has also worked with Ajay Devgn in Hogi Pyaar Ki Jeet. Shabana can be recognised by her role as Shehnaz in the 2000 film Fiza, where she romanced Hrithik Roshan. ‘Aaja Mahiya’ was one of the hit songs of the duo from the film.

When asked about her other name in the film industry, the actress told Rediff, "I was never Neha. I was always Shabana. I was forced into changing my name too. I was not okay with it at all. My parents proudly named me Shabana. There was no need to change it, but nobody listened to me."

The former actress further talked about Manoj and their relationship and said, "Manoj and I go back a long way. We met each other just after Kareeb. Kareeb and Satya released within a month of each other."

"Manoj and I understand each other well. We do not mix our professional and personal lives. We have a very healthy relationship." Shabana added.

The duo got married in 2006 and was blessed with a daughter named Ava Nayla Bajpayee. Shabana had said in a previous interview that she will be back in Bollywood as soon as their daughter grows up. However, it looks like she’s changed her thoughts and decided otherwise.
