Did you know Swara Bhasker ‘refused' to work with Shah Rukh Khan in Zero? Here's why!

Swara Bhasker is one of the few celebrities who never modifies what they say. Where they believe it is necessary, they always speak up. Talking about her work, she has consistently shown through her on-screen personas that she is an A-list performer. 

Swara Bhasker claimed in an interview that she is a huge fan of Shah Rukh Khan and had once asked him to recommend her to the director of the movie "Zero" Aanand L Rai. She then even got the part in the film but she declined the opportunity to play the character she was offered to. Well, let us tell you that the Tanu Weds Manu actress got the part of playing Shah Rukh Khan's mother in the film and hence she declined it. She revealed that Anand L Rai told her, “Beta, I can only offer you his mother’s role!”

However, she declined the role and eventually, the role of Shah Rukh Khan’s mother was later played by Sheeba Chaddha.

In an interview with Filmfare, Swara discussed her passion for Shah Rukh Khan and also talked about how much Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge affected her life and how much she adored SRK's films.
