She is a self-confessed ‘coffee addict, occasional poet, forever grooving & an intuitive actor’ and above all, an actress who has cut boundaries and has been flying high since her debut film. We are indeed referring to the stunningly beautiful Tamannaah Bhatia! After having made her dream debut in Bollywood with Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, Tamannaah Bhatia went on to conquer the southern film industry.
Whilst in the southern film industry, she went onto do films in regional languages like Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam as well. Amidst all this, she had auditioned for the dance reality show Boogie Woogie, which made everyone ‘dance to their tunes’ (quite literally!). and guess what! She got rejected by the show’s makers!
The same was revealed by Tamannaah Bhatia herself at a grand Prime Video Presents event today (March 19) which was held in Mumbai. Those in the know will recall that, unlike today’s day and age, the nineties era had primarily Boogie Woogie as the only dance reality show. This show, which went onto run for years together, had the impeccable trio of Javed Jaffrey, his brother Naved Jaffrey and Ravi Bahl, who was last seen in The Night Manager (he made a comeback of sorts after a long hiatus), the show which starred Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor and others.
Speaking about the Prime Video Presents’ grand event, there have been an array of announcements which took place today. Starting with the much-awaited Indian version of Russo Brothers' series Citadel, which has been titled Citadel Honey Boney. The series will star Varun Dhawan, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Kay Kay Menon, Simran and others.
