It is the D-Day as Ranveer Singh’s explosive film Dhurandhar and Mammootty’s much-awaited Kalamkaval hit the silver screens on December 5, making it one of the biggest Friday releases in quite a while. But there are a good number of exciting titles making their OTT debut, such as Pranav Mohanlal’s horror offering Dies Irae, the Telugu comedy-drama The Great Pre-Wedding Show and the Marathi series Be Dune Teen. Here are the new OTT releases to watch this weekend across Indian languages that are available to stream on OTTplay Premium.

After impressing with Mammootty-led Bramayugam and Bhoothakaalam, director Rahul Sadasivan joined hands with actor Pranav Mohanlal for Dies Irae. The horror thriller follows Rohan, a rich architect, who pays a visit to his former girlfriend’s house after he comes to know that she died by suicide. This sets off an eerie set of events as Rohan is haunted by a supernatural entity. Hailed by critics, Dies Irae for staying clear of usual horror tropes, the Pranav Mohanlal-starrer is a must-watch for fans of the genre.

This thriller series centres around a young girl's mysterious disappearance in a small town. A pharmacist, set to retire, gets some info about the missing child as he gets pulled into a sinister web along with the girl’s mother and a local cop. Helmed by Selvamani, the Tamil series promises to be a gripping watch. The seven episode crime thriller is also available to watch in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.

Ramesh, who is a local photographer, gets to shoot the pre-wedding video of the influential youth in his small town. But the big opportunity soon turns into a bane for him as the memory card goes missing. His attempts to retrieve it at any cost leads to chaotic and hilarious events. Thiruveer leads this ‘small’ Telugu film, which won much love during its theatrical run and is expected to get a bigger fan following in the OTT space.

Another slice-of-life tale, but this time in Marathi and that too as a series with 5 episodes. The young couple Abhay and Neha, expecting parents of triplets, are at the centre of this series. The series follows them as they navigate through the ups and downs of the good news, even as financial issues become a crucial factor.
Lubdhak raises a stray puppy but when it goes missing, it leads to a series of events as he comes across a dangerous dog trafficking syndicate. Action-packed and thrilling, Pariah Volume 1: Every Street Dog Has a Name depicts a fight for justice, unlike anything you would have seen thus far. Vikram Chatterjee shoulders the film, along with Angana Roy, Sreelekha Mitra, and Ambarish Bhattacharya. The film will stream on Zee5 via OTTplay Premium.
