Malayalam actor Pranav Mohanlal's upcoming horror film Dies Irae has already piqued the interest of genre lovers with its intriguing teaser and trailer. Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the Rahul Sadasivan-helmed film on October 31, 2025. However, now reports claim that the film could arrive a day in advance with a paid premiere show!
Dies Irae to have paid premiere shows
After impressing cinephiles with Bramayugam and Bhoothakaalam, filmmaker Rahul Sadasivan is back with yet another horror film, Dies Irae, and this time with Pranav Mohanlal in the lead. Online trackers have said that the makers of Dies Irae are planning to hold paid premiere shows for the film from the night of October 30, 2025.
The shows will begin at 9pm on next Thursday. Paid premieres are also being planned in the Gulf countries and UK on October 30. The booking for the shows in the GUlf countries have already started, but there have been no official updates on the premiere shows in Kerala.

What is the story of Dies Irae?
As per the official synopsis shared by the makers on the censor certificate, Dies Irae revolves around a youth named Rohith. The Malayali youth from an affluent family begins to experience paranormal activities around him and suspects the presence of a supernatural entity in his very home. As he seeks to find the truth, he enters unknown territories.
Actors Jibin Gopinath, Jaya Kurup, Arun Ajikumar and Manohari Joy are part of Dies Irae. Apart from the teaser and trailer, the makers had also released a promo track. The film has music by Christo Xavier.
