Digangana Suryavanshi bags the lead role in upcoming Telugu film with Sundeep Kishan

Digangana Suryavanshi, who made her Telugu debut with Hippie, is excited about the release of her upcoming Telugu flick Seetimaarr opposite Gopichand in September. The actress is now on board to play another lead role in an untitled film alongside Sundeep Kishan, Priya Prakash Varrier and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar.

A source close to the production revealed to Spotboye, “After playing a journalist in Seetimaarr opposite Gopichand, Digangana Suryavanshi is now set to play a secret investigation officer in the untitled film. The actress will be seen playing the lead role, opposite Tamil and Telugu actor Sundeep Kishan. She has been shooting on and off in Hyderabad for the film.”

According to the source, Digangana is completely involved in the film and invested in her role. The source also revealed that the actress is pulling her formal look as an investigating officer effortlessly. Digangana debuted in films with Govinda starrer FryDay that also has Varun Sharma and Prabhleen Sandhu in pivotal roles.

Her first Telugu film Hippi had her cast alongside Kartikeya Gummakonda, while Dhanusu Raasi Neyargale marked her Tamil debut, where she was seen with Harish Kalyan and Reba Monica John. Meanwhile, the actress will be seen portraying a TV journalist in Gopichand’s Seetimaarr, a sports drama also starring Tamannaah, Bhumika Chawla, Rahman, Tarun Arora, Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali and Tanikella Bharani in pivotal roles.
