Digiflix TV, a new OTT platform, to make its debut with Rahul Dev starrer The Perfect Script

The already formidable world of digital platforms in the country just got bigger, with its latest addition Digiflix TV, a venture of Digiflix Media Pvt Ltd. The latest streamer is set to make its debut in the digital world with the Rahul Dev starrer The Perfect Script, a Digiflix TV original.

According to reports in Daijiworld.com, the CEO and MD of Digiflix Media Pvt Ltd, Nishant Awasthi, had expressed his excitement at being a part of the company’s OTT plunge, showering praise on the platform’s business model and the management team, whom he says will have to take advantage of the ever changing environment common in film and TV.

Calling the team inspiring and one with huge potential, Nishant Awasthi also said that a great team is what most successful startups have in common. He had also elaborated on the content viewers can expect on the new platform, saying that the shows available on it are not only highly entertaining but also have strong stories as well.

In conversation with The New Indian Express actor Rahul Dev had shone a light on his project The Perfect Script, earlier this year. The Empire star had said that the concept of betrayal formed the crux of the suspense thriller and that it took on the hues of a movie divided into a series. He also said that such a format is always better since it would enable enough time to develop and flesh out characters better. The upcoming show also stars Rajniesh Duggall and Ruslaan Mumtaaz as well. The latter had called his co-star Rahul Dev an inspiration. The Perfect Script is directed by Partho Ghosh.
