Dil Se teaser: ETV Win’s OTT show centres on a small-town boy’s brush with city life

ETV Win, the OTT platform of the Eenadu group, which came up with web shows like Righto Lefto, U and I earlier, is set to premiere a contemporary urban romance titled Dil Se soon. Starring Chai Bisket-fame Raja Vikram, Varsha in the lead roles, the web series is written and directed by Bharath Naren, who’d earlier helmed a show for ETV titled Ammai Cute Abbai Naatu.

Dil Se is set to arrive on September 16 on ETV Win. The web series is produced by Sridhar Marisa under Sri Akkiyan Arts. Bhargav, Rohini Rao, Rahul Varma, Ramana Bhargava, VV Krishna play key roles too. The first look and the title of the show was launched earlier this week. A few days ahead of its OTT premiere, the streamer unveiled the show’s teaser today, offering a peek into its ambience and comic flavour. 

The teaser begins with a youngster giving a series of instructions to his parents in a small-town as he’s ready to leave to Hyderabad for his first job. His mother asks him to relax and gets him to understand that he’s the one leaving the house and not vice-versa. The mother says, ‘It’s the first time you’re leaving home and staying in a different place. Wonder how you’ll deal with it.’

When the backdrop of the show shifts to the city, you notice a different side to the protagonist, as he appears outgoing, mischievous, partying with friends, in contrast to the perception he generates at home. The teaser ends with a discussion between the flavour of a dish they’re to order. The director tells a familiar story but packs the show with hilarious sequences.

Ajay Arasada is the composer while Anush Kumar is the cinematographer. Raj Meda and Tramp Kiran are the editors. Midhuna’s Culture handled art direction for the same and Priyanka Surampudi is the costume designer.
