Director Arun Matheswaran says response to Saani Kaayidham overwhelming

Keerthy Suresh and Selvaraghavan's recent release Saani Kaayidham, which was out on Amazon Prime Video on May 6, has been well received by the critics and audience alike. The film has been growing from strength to strength with each passing day, and has been receiving love and appreciation from audiences everyone. This revenge action drama is testimony to the fact that good content has no language barriers.

The plot revolves around a heart-wrenching journey of Ponni (Keerthy Suresh), a woman belonging to an oppressed caste, who works as a constable and lives with her five-year-old daughter Dhana and her husband Maari, who works as a coolie in a rice mill. In one unfortunate night, she loses everything. To avenge the injustice done to her, she takes support of Sangaiah (Selvaraghavan), her half brother, with whom she shares a bitter past.
