Director Om Raut reveals how Prabhas' humbleness made him his first choice to play Lord Ram in Adipurush

Adipurush has gathered huge attention around the world due to all the controversies since its theatrical release. Fans couldn't stop criticizing the bad writing, and performances as well as the unbelievably cringy dialogues of the Prabhas, Kriti Sanon and Saif Ali Khan starrer. However, recently, director Om Raut unveiled his reason for casting the Bahubali star as Lord Ram in his 'action' mythological adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana.

According to the latest report of IndiaToday.in, Raut revealed that Prabhas has been his first and only choice for his 'magnum opus.' "If you watch Adipurush, it's made for the new generation. It's made for our youth," claimed the director.

Talking to the news portal, Raut also mentioned that for him it was very difficult to get the entire Ramayana in a film but he has tried to present it with all his faith and understanding.

Talking more about roping in Prabhas, the filmmaker shared that he fit perfectly for this role because his heart is very clean and also your eyes are a reflection of your heart and you can see the sincerity, honesty, and genuineness in Prabhas's eyes. Raut further claimed that the Telugu star is also so humble that he could only think about him for the role.
