P Suneel Kumar Reddy, the director behind films like Gangaputrulu, Sontha Vooru and Oka Romantic Crime Katha, is back in action with another message-oriented film. His next, titled #69 Sanskar Colony, has wrapped up all pre-release formalities and is gearing up for a release on March 4. Starring Ester Noronha, Rishwi Thimmaraju and Ajay in roles, the film is jointly produced by B Bapiraju, Muthiki Naga Satyanarayana under Lakshmi Pictures and Aditya Cinema. The cast, crew of the film came together for a press meet recently.
Ester Noronha shared, "Telugu cinema is extremely close to my heart. Despite doing only a handful of Telugu films, I've received a lot of love from audiences here. At a time when I was looking to take up a good story-driven film, P Suneel Kumar offered this to me. I found this to be an interesting, slice-of-life story and represents the dark realities of our society, complexities of modern-day relationships in an entertaining way."
Rishwi Timmaraju added, "I feel lucky to have landed an opportunity to do a content-oriented film like this. I thank the director and the producers for trusting me to pull off this role. The film has a good mix of humour, fun, romance and a wide range of emotions. I hope it receives the love from crowds in theatres from March 4."
The director Suneel Kumar said, "I was particular that the film was made with an element of social responsibility and not commercial reasons alone. Only when I was convinced about the script, did we go on the floors. I thank the cast, crew for working day and night to achieve a quality result. The characters in the film have different dimensions and we're planning to release character posters in the coming days. I'm confident that the film will be liked by people."
Editor Krishna Mandala, lyricist Gaman Sri, producer Bapiraju also wished for the commercial success of the film at the event. Shilpa Nayak, Raman, FM Babai, Samudram Venkatesh also essay supporting roles. Suneel Kumar Reddy has written the dialogues for it with Gayathri Swathi Mantripragada penning the story. Praveen Immadi has scored the music while SV Sivaram has cranked the camera.
