Sarkaru Vaari Paata, the Mahesh Babu-Keerthy Suresh starrer directed by Parasuram Petla, underwent several release date postponements, but is finally clearing all decks for a theatrical release on May 12. The film wrapped its shoot only recently and the last leg of post production formalities are progressing at a brisk pace. The action entertainer is jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Ram Achanta and Gopichand Achanta under Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus banners.
Composer S Thaman has continued his glorious form for the film with three of his numbers Penny, Kalaavathi and the title number being a hit music listeners. Now, he's busy finishing the background score and shared an interesting update about the film earlier in the day. He tweeted, "Sarkaru Vaari Paata鈥檚 Box Office Recovery begins from May 12th. An announcement about the film's trailer is expected later in the day and Thaman teased Mahesh Babu fans about it, making them all the more curious, saying that the 'superstar' was in glorious form in it. Earlier this week, Kalaavathi song moved past the 150 million views landmark on Youtube. Subbaraju and Vennela Kishorealso play important roles in the film too. R Madhie is the cinematographer and AS Prakash is the director of this massy outing.
Amazon Prime Video has reportedly bagged the streaming rights for the film. After Sarkaru Vaari Paata, Mahesh Babu will next work on an entertainer with director Trivikram opposite Pooja Hegde and later move onto an action adventure with RRR filmmaker SS Rajamouli. In a recent interview, Mahesh Babu proclaimed that Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be an out-and-out entertainer in Puri Jagannadh's style.
