Sandeep Vanga takes a dig at Deepika Padukone with a cryptic post
His new film, Spirit, is in the news as Deepika Padukone was supposed to play the female lead, and due to some differences, Sandeep removed her and brought in Tripti Dimri of Animal fame on board. Since then, dirty PR games from Deepika’s team have started, and Sandeep is being blamed for Deepika's exit.
Looks like Sandeep has now lost it and took a dig at Deepika without taking her name in his new post. “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, you’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are. Putting down a younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft, and for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it. Sandeep Reddy Vanga in no mood to slow down
This gives the idea that Sandeep is quite miffed with the fact that Deepika had leaked the story to her team, and they have been carrying reports through various agencies about the story and how the film has so many A-rated scenes, which Deepika was quite uncomfortable shooting. Sandeep is known to use harsh language and attacks Deepika by asking, “Is this your feminism?” Things have turned ugly now, and we need to see what Deepika and her team will say about the so-called fallout.
The noted director is also upset with the fact that Tripti Dimri is being dragged into all this through various posts and articles about her, which Sandeep has also pointed out.
